I weep for the youth that will watch this movie...

DO NOT WATCH TRANSFORMERS 2.

As if the first movie wasn't crappy enough to show people that any sequel, especially if directed by Michael Bay again, would be complete and utter trash. Now, in this link are 8 reasons (with spoilers) on why you should avoid watching the movie.

The writer of this article goes on at one point about the legalization of pot for some reason or another... just read past that. It's the use of pot to try and be "funny" in the movie that's the real problem. Just like the original movie used jokes about urine and masturbation to be "funny."

I still don't know if any Transformers in this movie "lubricate" on anyone but the stuff in this movie that some Transformers DO engage in is crazy enough.

Latest Super Mario 64 Maze

Remember, I didn't just make this. This was done back in 1996 or 1997 so some of the info. in the maze is incorrect. Refer to my previous LJ entry for Bob-Omb Battlefield and more info. regarding these mazes.

Latest maze is Whomp's Fortress.

And now for something new... Super Mario 64 Mazes!

Back in 1996 or 1997, one of my bros gave me a stack of mazes he had printed out back in 1990 or 1991 from some DOS-based maze-generating program. For a few of the mazes he had added little obstacles and enemies so I figured I'd do the same. Well, for some reason, I figured that if I'm gonna do this, the mazes would have to follow a certain theme... which ultimately ended up being "stages from Super Mario 64." After about 7 mazes or so, I stopped. However, I plan on continuing them at some point until I have all the levels from Super Mario 64 down in maze form.

I was able to scan this one image from what I think was the first maze I worked on: Bob-Omb Battlefield. On the right side is a list of objects in the maze that you can pass through and objects that you cannot pass through unless you're wearing a cap or something. Yes, some mazes have a limited number of caps that you can use once per star. So, for example, in Bob-Omb Battlefield, since there are 2 Red Flying Caps, once you use them for the entirety of two stars, the rest of the stars must be completed without their help. And yes, each maze contains multiple stars to obtain. The first star for each level always involves reaching the end of the maze. The other stars involve reaching certain parts of the maze.

Getting LJ Up to Date

Haven't posted on LJ in a while. Facebook has sorta replaced it because of its ease of use. But anyway... here's a whole bunch of neat stuff I posted on Facebook but not here.

AT&T Customer Service

My gosh, AT&T's customer service is horrid. Is my household the only one having problems with them? I mean, goodness, if they make a mistake, the person you are speaking with never has the means to correct it and you can never get in contact with someone who CAN correct it. If one person can't help you, they just send you to some other department and just dumps all responsibility on someone who may not even have anything to do with your problem.

I have been searching online for other people who have had problems with AT&T's customer service but it seems like it's not a widespread thing... either that or I haven't been searching online long enough.

I mean, the phone service and the DSL high speed Internet service people don't have any kind of communication with each other. There's no cohesion at all between departments. Mistakes are abundant. If one person tells you that you will not be charged for month X because of their own screw-ups, expect to get a call in month Y at 8 in the morning to pay for month X.

We're currently using the cheapest DSL service from AT&T because, as far as we know, it's the cheapest around. But somebody please tell me they have experienced this and understand. And if a lawyer is reading this, please respond because I feel like suing these jerks for harassment. Being on the phone for 2 hours plus fighting with customer service for things you're entitled to and to make them understand the mistakes they're making cannot be good for one's health.

Inside the mind of a crazy person

Not too long ago, some of you may recall me mentioning this crazy person I met on the bus once. I call her the crazy psycho nutjob lady. She was dressed up like a business person, with some briefcase and everything, and was yelling unintelligible nonsense into her cellphone. The words weren't unintelligible. It's the stream of thought that was. The other thing I noticed about her was that she wrote some weirdness onto the window she was sitting next to. After she got off at her stop, I switched over to where she sat and read what she wrote. Needless to say, it made no sense.

A few days later, I was waiting at the bus stop to catch the bus and noticed some writing on this board next to the bus stop bench. I took a look and it was MORE nonsense in the same fashion as what I saw on the bus. Apparently, crazy psycho nutjob lady had stepped foot around my area and had left her mark. Anyway, I quickly took out a pencil and paper and scribbled down what I saw. With the magic of scanning technology, I bring to you the weird writings of... crazy psycho nutjob lady.

Hmm...

"you are hell"
"eat you cheese"

Could crazy psycho nutjob lady be related to Frank Bjorklund?

New Youtube video and a story I wrote...

Okay, so I finally uploaded this video I found somewhere a number of years ago to Youtube. I couldn't find the video anywhere on the Internet so I thought I'd upload it to let others watch it. I think it's pretty cool and nice...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_hvOgKxCdw

In other news, during the move, I found an old story I had put together. See, when I was younger, around 10 to 14, I did a lot of "creative" writing. This specific story was pretty much me compiling a whole bunch of gags and jokes I had heard over time and coming up with a "story" that somewhat tied all the jokes together. I found this story back in 1994. I had just turned 11 and thought this would be funny. Read on if you don't mind cringe-inducing jokes and wtf plot twists.

Eerie Dreams

I've been dreaming about having telekinesis lately...

Apparently, distance and weight are factors when it comes to moving things with my mind. The only thing I was able to move was a sheet of paper with nothing on top of it and no farther than one or two feet away. It takes some effort. It's like working a muscle.

When I woke up, I tried moving a sheet of paper at my desk. Didn't work...

I wish I had some mild telekinesis.

Image question

Anyone know what game this is from or at least where parts of it is from? It's a stage made for MUGEN and may not be an exact replica of an area from a game.

My own MUGEN site!

For those who aren't aware of it yet.

http://drzaius.webs.com/

I'm hosting a few edits of my own and some of my brother's works.

Speaking of my brother, I'm apparently going to be an uncle soon.

Oh, and I finally took care of that RAM issue from the previous journal entry. I'm now using 2 1-gig sticks of memory and everything just runs... so much nicer now.

Gonna buy me some memory... in other words, HEALP!!!

Okay, I was planning on buying some memory for my computer but... I don't know what to do or what to buy or what. I was originally planning on getting this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146526

IT'S FIFTEEN BUCKS.

But then a friend recommended going to 4allmemory.com and looking up my system's information there and the site recommended this:

http://www.4allmemory.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=search.memorySearch&model_id=62361

What should I do? What should I get? I don't want the best. What I want is to be able to buy the item from the newegg site and know for sure that it'll be compatible.

I have an eMachines T3604: http://www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=T3604

I'd also like to know what are the things I should look at to determine if a memory stick is compatible with my computer.

Moving yet again?

We just got an e-mail from the owner of the apartment saying that the current rent we're paying is not enough to cover the bills, or whatever, and that she wants us to move out of the apartment. She says we have a couple of months to move. Right now, we're paying $1100 a month for two bedrooms, which is unheard of for the most part. Not sure where else we can find such a deal. In any case, this is a breach of contract because it hasn't been a year yet and we have a lease. So... not sure what to do. Don't know where we're gonna get the money to move, don't know where we're gonna move to, and I don't know what kind of impact this will have on my internship. I was hoping to get my hours done so that I can get to studying for the BCABA exam but now a huge ol' wrench was tossed into the plans. I don't even know if I'll be able to get to the place where I intern at from this new location since I take the bus. And I'm not sure if we do have two months to look for another location. We may suddenly have to move in a few days, for whatever reason.

Well, if no one hears from me for a while, you'll know what happened.

Christmas gifts for ME

Merry late Christmas!

Here's what I got:

Nintendo Wii Classic Controller
Snowman Popping Candy and Shovel Lollipop
A small carton of chocolate milk (wtf?)
A Coby surround sound system with DVD player (time to replace my old one)
A Nintendo DS game (returning some Dragonquest Joker game thing for Dragonquest IV... or Chrono Trigger)

and last but not least

Garfield Top 15 Silly Songs for Cool Cats

I should note that for this last one, they actually use Lorenzo Music's voice, even though this thing was released last year and Music is looong dead. Maybe it's a re-release? In any case, it has some dumb songs in it, like Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear. I guess it was more of a joke gift because I like Garfield and all. What's really interesting is the titles Windows Media Player assigns each track. Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear is listed as I Got You (I Feel Good). Yankee Doodle is instead called Honky Cat. ...Oh, I think I understand. WMP confused this CD with some Garfield: The Movie CD.

Anyway, I think I'm still expecting a couple more gifts. We'll see.

EDIT: The DS game ended up being Chrono Trigger DS. Now is probably the time to finish FFIV DS already... Man, it's like Final Fantasy Anthology all over again.
